To create harmony and warmth in
this library, an organic material was
used on the fireplace hood that
naturally reflected the beauty of the
tile in the fireplace surround.

A custom medallion was applied and slightly aged to add interest. 

Ordinary pilasters are made extraordinary in this space by adding a gold deco treatment to the insert with a rich red trim. The look was carried into the coffered ceiling (not shown) for detail and symmetry. Comfort and warmth are achieved with the
luxurious faux leather walls.

A touch of drama was added to this
 butler’s pantry with a bold hand
painted harlequin pattern.

A beautiful balance of fun and sophistication is achieved with the
gold leaf edging.

A standard plywood floor is transformed into an artistic canvas for a one of a kind design. Multiple layers of tinted concrete were applied and artfully detailed into this aged, distressed European finish. The floor was stained in its final stages, to give the floor a polished feel with movement and warmth.
